I will admit, every day in Hawaii is a beautiful day, but today was something extraordinary! I had the honor and privilege of greeting His Grace Bishop Dr. Maxim of Western America and Father Blasko Paraklis from Mission Viejo, CA at the Honolulu airport. I was so inspired as we talked over lunch about all things Serbian - and of course how awesome the ahi poke bowl was and this beautiful Hawaii weather.
In regards to Serbia and Kosovo, it seems like the humanitarian opportunities are endless, where do you even begin? But after spending a couple of hours with these two men of God and hearing their perspective and ideas, I was encouraged. It's as if God was doing that special thing that only He can do -bringing people into your life at just the right time to inspire and encourage. Yes, Hawaii was blessed today, and so was I. *A very special thank you to Igor who treated us to lunch today ~ Mahalo, Hvala Igor! If you are on Oahu this Sunday please join His Grace Dr. Bishop Maxim and Father Blasko for Hierachical Divine Liturgy at 9:30am Saint Lazar Serbian Orthodox Parish of Honolulu The Most Holy Theotokos of Iveron Russian Orthodox Church 845 Queen Street, Suite #101 Honolulu, Hawaii On Sunday, March 3rd 2013 Following the Divine Liturgy and luncheon there will be a Parish meeting - with his Grace Bishop Dr. Maxim and Fr. Blasko.

Nice picture, I wish I was there to attend divine liturgy and of course to have one of those poki bowls.
